Brownstone - Pinot Grigio
Purchased at: Walmart
Okay, so I start by looking at the bottle itself and the label. The story on the back is cute and all. The label is simple and there isn’t much color. Somehow, the label just didn’t seem to match the story as well as it maybe could have.
Now, for after opening the bottle. It’s a light smelling wine bringing crisp and light thoughts to mind. I also caught a hint of pear. There’s no bite at the end (clearly it’s on the sweeter end of wines) and it goes down smoothly. The aftertaste has a bit of a pull on the edges of the tongue.
Overall, it’s a good 3.5/5. As my grandmother would say, it didn’t blow any wind up my dress, but it’s a good staple wine that I wouldn’t mind going to again. Perfect to pick up after a long day at work and unwind with a glass. Cheers!
